Four start-ups launched during the largest femtech hackathon in Belgium

Four teams were selected from dozens of entries to present solutions for specific health and lifestyle needs of women, including endometriosis, menstrual complaints and menopause. The winners receive intensive guidance from the Fem Futures Collective to actually launch their business.

In the Health category, the Harmona team developed a device that registers menstrual pain and offers targeted solutions for faster and more effective recovery. Within the Sports category, PelvIQ presented a wearable device that strengthens the pelvic floor muscles through electrical stimulation and thus prevents urine loss.

In the Finance and Insurance category, the FIA ​​team presented an app that supports women with complex financial and emotional decisions during important life stages. Finally, in the Retail category, Auryn developed a smart patch that measures subtle daily symptoms, such as fatigue or bloating, and then offers personalized supplement subscriptions.
