Russian President Vladimir Putin will receive US President’s Special Envoy Steve Wittkoff in the first half of next week, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.
He added that the Kremlin will announce the exact date later.
Peskov also informed today that Washington has transferred to Moscow the main parameters of the plan to achieve peace in Ukraine, agreed as a result of American and Ukrainian consultations in Geneva.
The White House announced that talks in Geneva with Ukrainian representatives had made “significant progress” toward ending the war in Ukraine and resulted in an “updated and clarified” framework document that Washington said would “fully secure” Ukraine’s sovereignty and promote a just peace.
