Media: the explosion of two tankers of the Russian “shadow fleet” is a special operation of the SBU

The blowing up of two tankers of Russia’s “shadow fleet” was a special operation of the SBU, writes the Air Force, citing its own source, as well as information disseminated by Ukrainian publications.

Sea Baby sea drones attacked two sanctioned tankers Kairos and Virat in the Black Sea, the source claims. After the hit, both tankers were disabled, which will cause a significant blow to the transportation of Russian oil.

The day before it became known that a fire started on the next tanker in Novorossiysk, Kairos, flying the Gambian flag. Turkey’s General Directorate of Maritime Affairs said the tanker caught fire due to external forces 28 miles off the coast. After this, the tanker Virat, located off the coast of Turkey, reported smoke.

Turkey’s Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure said the Virat “was attacked again on the morning of Saturday, November 29, with minor damage to its starboard side.” There is no fire on board, the crew is feeling well. Rescuers are at a safe distance from the ship. The vessel remains stable,” the statement said.
