Donald Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner and the US special envoy, Steve Witkoff are expected in Moscow by the Russian president, Vladimir Putin. “Putin will meet Witkoff, the US chief negotiator on Ukraine, who will come to visit the Kremlin. Jared Kushner will also be present,” Kremlin spokesman Peskov confirmed to the press.
When asked by journalists whether there will be other participants in the talks, Peskov replied that no one else will be present except an interpreter. Journalists asked how long the meeting might last. “As long as it takes,” Peskov replied.

Zelensky also reiterated the need to hold Russia “responsible for aggression and war crimes”, with a special court to deal with the matter.
