Roskomnadzor has limited access to the popular gaming platform Roblox. The department’s press service told reporters that the decision was made in connection with the dissemination of prohibited or objectionable materials.
Roskomnadzor said that monitoring of Roblox showed the inability of the internal system to ensure 100% safety of materials appearing on the platform. “This measure was taken due to the systematic dissemination on the resource of materials containing propaganda and justification of extremist and terrorist activities, calls for violent action, as well as information related to LGBT topics,” writes TASS.
The publication iGuides.ru writes that the blocking affected all methods of accessing the platform – both mobile applications and the web version.
