The British maritime trade control agency UKMTO (United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations) reported a new incident off the coast of Yemen: small vessels engulfed in fire were spotted approximately 15 nautical miles offshore.
The information was transmitted without specifying the nature of the incident, the ownership of the vessels and the possible causes of the fire. There is no information yet about casualties or damage caused.
UKMTO says it is in contact with shipping companies in the region and continues to collect data.
