Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa accuses Israel of “exporting crises”

Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa accuses Israel of “exporting crises” to other countries in the region to divert attention from the “horrific massacres in Gaza.”

“Israel has become a country that is fighting ghosts,” al-Sharaa said in Doha, stressing that Israel uses security concerns to justify every action.

“Syria has suffered massive violations of our airspace and we have been the victim of more than 1,000 airstrikes and more than 400 incursions,” he said.

Al-Sharaa repeated his call for Israel to withdraw troops from the Golan territory in southern Syria.
