Trump granted Henry Kolar amnesty and he will run against his party

Trump was furious that only a short time after signing the pardon, Kolar announced that he would run for Congress in the state of Texas on behalf of the Democratic Party. The president attacked the move and pointed out that Kolar chooses to continue working with the same “radical leftist” who only a few weeks earlier wanted to see him and his wife spend the rest of their lives in prison.

Trump defined Kolar’s decision as a complete disloyalty, and estimated that the voters of Texas, as well as Kolar’s daughters, would not accept this. The president concluded his remarks with a warning that next time he won’t act nice, emphasizing the absurdity of Kolar being reunited with the people who tried to destroy his life.

According to the president, the political persecution against Kolar stemmed from his support for border security and opposition to the uncontrolled entry of illegal immigrants, drug traffickers and violent criminals into the United States. Trump stated that he decided to grant the couple a full and absolute pardon after reading an emotional letter written by Kolar’s daughters, and although he never spoke to the congressman or his family, he felt satisfaction that he had saved a family that had been tortured by brutal political opponents – according to him.
