The President of Ukraine arrived in London

Ukrainian President Zelensky arrived in London to discuss ways to end the war, which has been going on for four years, with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and French President Emmanuel Macron. In order to achieve that goal, it is important that Europe, Ukraine and the USA are united, Zelensky said.

Hours before that, US President Donald Trump criticized him, claiming that the Ukrainian president has not yet read the American proposal to establish peace and “is not ready to sign it”.

The German chancellor stated today that he is skeptical about some elements of the American proposal. “We are here to discuss it,” Mertz said.

Earlier, French President Emmanuel Macron also criticized the preliminary plan presented by Washington, according to which Ukraine should cede a number of territories to Russia, abandon its plans to join NATO and reduce its army.
