UZ Gent is joining forces with Kruidvat for diapers, wipes and baby food

Several providers became assessed on predetermined criteria, including quality, deployability, delivery reliability and total cost. “Kruidvat came out on top for all three product groups,” said spokesperson Karlien Wouters. The hospital will work with the Dutch budget chain for the next four years. Previously, baby products from A-brands were offered in the hospital.

The price of Kruidvat products is considerably lower, but the cost for patients remains the same. The spokesperson did not want to say that this concerns savings. “We can certainly assure our patients that the products we provide are of very high quality,” it says. “That was well investigated during the procedure.”

UZ Gent and Kruidvat provide fixed evaluation moments to monitor product performance, delivery reliability and feedback from the departments.
