Trump announces that Cambodia and Thailand will stop crossing border attacks “tonight”

The president of the United States, Donald Trump, announced this Friday that the authorities of Cambodia and Thailand have agreed to cease “tonight” the crossing of border attacks, which have increased in recent days despite the peace agreement signed in October in the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur.

“This morning I had a very good conversation with the Prime Minister of Thailand, Anutin Charnvirakul, and the Prime Minister of Cambodia, Hun Manet, about the unfortunate resurgence of their long war. Trump has maintained that the bomb that reignited the fighting, which “killed and wounded numerous Thai soldiers,” was “an accident but Thailand responded firmly.” However, he has assured through a message on his Truth Social profile that “both countries are ready for peace and to continue trade with the United States.”

“It is an honor for me to work with Anutin and Hun to resolve what could have degenerated into a major war between two otherwise wonderful and prosperous countries. I would also like to thank the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Anwar Ibrahim, for his help in this important matter,” concluded the White House tenant.
