Tutzing (Bavaria) – Dog breeder Anja Striegel (53) has made national coach Julian Nagelsmann, Bavaria’s honorary president Uli Hoeneß and world champion Toni Kroos happy with her four-legged offspring, among others. But now the district office has taken action: dogs gone, breeding closed!

It is the temporary end of a dispute that has been going on for years: Anja Striegel has been taking care of Brombergweg in the Tutzinger district of Traubing since 2019 (Bayern) for Labrador offspring. The business economist started her own business six years ago and rented the property in the Traubing Süd industrial area.

Barbara Beck, press spokeswoman for the district office, told BILD: “Dog breeding or keeping dogs was illegally carried out on the property in Traubing.” The buildings were approved in 2015 for an excavator operation including an office and manager’s apartment. “There was no permit for commercial dog breeding.”

There have been several attempts to get the operator to give in – with notices, fines, controls and even the threat of eviction. All without success. The authority spokeswoman: “The district office already issued a ban on use in 2020.”

Now the tough step: representatives from the veterinary office, district building office and animal shelter arrived – accompanied by the Starnberg police. Beck confirms to BILD: “28 dogs were found. On the owner of the Dogs There will now probably be costs for the procedure and temporary accommodation of the animals. But the 53-year-old wants to fight. She told BILD: “Reports that my business wasn’t registered are a lie. My dogs have always been fine.” Rather, there are construction law disputes. She doesn’t want to accept allegations that she has bred illegally. “That is an untruth.”

In addition, a neighbor made her life hell, reports the “Münchner Merkur”. She is annoyed. Because other breeders could easily even work in residential areas. The property on Brombergweg was also rented to her as commercial space. With the help of an acquaintance, she has now been able to place the dogs that were picked up by the office “in very lovely families,” she told BILD.

Striegel is now looking for a new location for her dog breeding “Lakeview Labrador”. The district office has already announced that it will closely monitor what happens on the Brombergweg site in the future.
