Mexican navy plane crashes off the US coast, 5 people die

A small Mexican navy plane, carrying 4 officers and 4 civilians, crashed and crashed in the sea near Galveston Island in the US state of Texas on December 22. The US Coast Guard (USCG) confirmed that at least 5 people were killed, one person was missing and two people were rescued.

This is a coordinated flight between the Mexican navy and the Michou y Mau Foundation, a non-profit organization specializing in supporting the treatment of severely burned Mexican children. Some sources revealed that the plane was transporting burn patients for treatment at a hospital in Galveston.

The Mexican Navy only announced that the plane had trouble during the journey, without giving details. This agency affirmed that it will coordinate with US officials to investigate the cause of the accident and support search and rescue work at the scene.
