Four of his children, Senator Flávio and the now former councilor of Rio de Janeiro Carlos, as well as Jair Renan and Laura, received permission to visit their father on an ad hoc basis.

The magistrate also prohibited the entry of computers, mobile phones or any electronic equipment to the former president’s room.

During his recovery in the clinic, which could last a week, the far-right leader will be watched 24 hours a day by at least two police officers at the door of his room.
