The Kremlin reports that Putin’s aide spoke by phone with American officials

Russian President Vladimir Putin’s aide Yuri Ushakov spoke with several members of the US administration after receiving the peace agreement proposals, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said. It did not say when the phone call took place.

According to a Reuters source close to the negotiations, the special envoy of the Russian President Kirill Dmitriev also participated in the negotiations with Ushakov after the members of the US administration.

Peskov told reporters that an agreement was reached with the US on continuing the dialogue.

The Kremlin spokesman also announced, without giving details, that Moscow analyzed the documents on ending the war, which were brought to Moscow from the USA by the special envoy of the Russian president, Kirill Dmitriev.
