Eurostar, which provides rail services between London and Paris, announced that services were suspended due to a power outage in the Channel Tunnel.

Passengers were warned of significant delays and advised not to come to stations. Representatives of the company told the media that they do not have information when train service will be restored. At this stage, there is no information about the number of injured passengers.

The tunnel connecting Great Britain and France is one of the busiest transport arteries in Europe. It is especially popular during the Christmas and New Year holidays.
