Benjamin Netanyahu: we will act against Iran if it resumes missile production and nuclear program

The Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu warned Iran, during an interview this morning with the American channel Fox News, that if they resume production of ballistic missiles and its nuclear program They will act against the country again, just as they did last June.

“We are not looking for an escalation, I hope not, but if they do it there will be no limits,” warned the Israeli president.

Netanyahu is convinced that the Ayatollah regime “has been trying to recover its ballistic missile production facilities” that were attacked during the twelve-day war last June, in which the United States also participated.

“In the last two weeks, we have learned that Iran has been carrying out maneuvers and practicing launching ballistic missiles against Israel. If they dare to do so, the consequences will be devastating,” he said.

In addition, the president insisted that Iran must abandon the idea of developing a nuclear program and called for more inspections of its nuclear enrichment capacity.

“I think with Iran, the real problem is that they should accept that they should not have nuclear enrichment capability; they should remove all the material that they have already enriched, get it out of Iran and do inspections,” he said.

And he added: “President Trump has also warned them not to do it and I believe that they will not cross the line of reactivating their nuclear program, especially since less than a year ago they already suffered the consequences of doing so.”

On this matter, the Israeli leader has the support of Trump, who on Monday was “absolutely” in favor of supporting a new Israeli attack against the Iranian regime.

“If Iran does not reach an agreement, if Iran continues with its ballistic missiles and also with nuclear weapons. If they continue with the missiles, yes,” he said Monday in an appearance alongside Netanyahu at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club in Florida.

The Israeli president arrived in the United States last Sunday to hold a new meeting with Trump, the fifth so far this year, to address the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and the situation in the rest of the region.

US President Donald Trump again demanded the disarmament of Hamas at the beginning of his meeting on Monday, December 29, with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, after the armed wing of the Palestinian Islamist movement reaffirmed that it will not give up its weapons.
