Azerbaijan will give more money to the army and law enforcement agencies this year

In this year’s budget, the government of Azerbaijan has allocated more money for the army, judicial system, law enforcement agencies and the prosecutor’s office than in the previous 2025, reports APA, referring to the Ministry of Finance.

Accordingly, this year, 28.9 percent of the total expenses will be allocated to these sectors, which is 4 percent more than last year’s figure. The lion’s share of the money will go to defense and national security, which will receive about 9 billion manats this year, while three times less, about 3 billion manats, will be allocated to the maintenance of the judicial system, law enforcement agencies and the prosecutor’s office.
