Tom Barak, Trump’s special envoy for Syria, said that the United States and its allies are ready to help in efforts to de-escalate tensions between the two sides.

“We call on the Syrian government, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), local authorities in Kurdish-controlled areas, and all armed forces on the ground to cease hostilities, immediately de-escalate and commit to de-escalation,” the ambassador said in a post on X.
