Jessica and Jacques Moretti – the owners of the bar that burned down in Switzerland, are facing an investigation

According to the records, Moretti was seen leaving the burning building holding the money box, while her son, who served as the foreman, tried to break through the Plexiglas panels of the balcony to free the revelers trapped inside. Moretti herself suffered burns to her arm during the incident, while her husband and co-manager of the venue, Jacques Moretti, was at another club at the time.

The severe fire claimed the lives of 40 people, most of them teenagers, and led to the injury of more than 100 others. Following the new findings, the investigators are considering whether to add a charge against Morty for failure to render assistance, which could significantly worsen her legal situation.

The couple, who have not yet been arrested, expressed deep shock at the tragedy and promised to fully cooperate with law enforcement. After the end of the investigation, the prosecutors will decide whether to file an indictment against them and bring the case to court, or to close the legal proceedings in their case.
