The mayor of Kyiv, Vitaliy Klitschko, called on the residents of the city to temporarily leave the city if possible. The reason was last night’s Russian attacks on energy facilities in Kiev.
“As a result of those strikes, at the moment, half of the city’s apartment buildings are left without heat supply,” Klitschko said.
According to the mayor of Kyiv, none of the recorded Russian strikes during the almost 4 years of the war had caused as much damage to the city’s energy system as the one carried out tonight.
It was reported earlier that at least four people were killed and some were injured as a result of that strike.
