But Iran pays dearly for cutting off the internet: every day like this costs Iran millions and even billions – economic damage to a country that is in a bad situation even without it. So now what’s the next step?
There are many reasons: A. It shows the helplessness of the police. B, it shows a large scale of protests. C, the world will really understand that something serious is happening in the streets. D. The last time tanks took to the streets of Tehran was 47 years ago, before the fall of the previous regime, and they don’t want a similar fate.
Meanwhile, the regime’s senior officials, led by the leader, not only do not take a step back, but threaten the demonstrators and accuse them of being agents of Israel and America. In all this mess there is also an Israeli matter: will Iran, in order to look away from the demonstrations, embark on a military adventure against Israel? It is probable, possible, but far away at the moment, because the regime does not see itself with its back against the wall.
In the movie of the revolution in Iran there are and will be many more episodes, upheavals, tragedies and of course a lot of blood – a movie that at the moment no one knows what its ending will be and who will have a happy ending.
