Iran celebrates this Wednesday the funerals for the more than 100 members of the security forces who have died during the protests that have shaken the country since last December 28, against which brutal repression has been exercised, especially last Thursday and Friday.
The bodies of more than one hundred members of the security forces will be transported in a procession from the Tehran University until the cemetery from the Persian capital, the Mehr agency reported.
This official media called for the massive participation of citizens in a new attempt to project unity in the face of the largest protests held in the country in years and for which the Iranian Government blames the United States and Israel.

The funerals take place while Iran is gradually recovering normality after all communications with the outside world were cut off on Thursday and a huge police force was deployed throughout the country.especially in Tehran.
The protests that began on the 28th reached their peak last Thursday with an explosion of demonstrations in practically the entire country, which led to attacks on public organizations, banks that were razed, and the burning of 53 mosques, according to official sources.
Human Rights Activists (HRA) said yesterday that it had confirmed the deaths of a total of 1,850 people, including 9 minors, in the 17 days of anti-government protests in Iran and also more than 16,700 arrests, as published in its HRANA news agency.
