The Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation has updated the register of “foreign agents”, adding to it the publication “People of Baikal” and the media project TV2 Media.
Also included in the list: political scientist-orientalist Arkady Dubnov; American historian Ivan Kurilla;
opposition politician Olga Kurnosova; economist Maxim Mironov; human rights activist, head of the Conscript School Alexey Tabalov.
According to the Ministry of Justice, new figures in the register of “foreign agents” disseminated false information about the decisions and policies of the Russian authorities, collaborated with other “foreign agents,” and also opposed the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
