Another Putin-Witkoff meeting will take place tomorrow

Wittkoff told CNBC that the proposal for the meeting was from the Russian side. “I think it’s a very eloquent step on their part,” emphasized the American envoy and assured that in the last two months, great progress has been made on the American plan.

“We’re bringing everyone closer together… hopefully we’ll have something good to announce soon. As for our 20-point peace plan, we are developing and harmonizing it, and I think we have now reached the territorial issues, which is the most difficult issue,” he noted.

“I think we have some very, very good ideas for that. And hopefully we’ll be able to make some progress on that,” Wittkoff said.

When asked if he believes that Putin will come to an agreement to end the war in Ukraine that has been going on for almost four years, Wittkoff answered: – “Yes.”
