Trump-Aliev bilateral meeting was held in Davos

Presidents of the USA and Azerbaijan, Donald Trump and Ilham Aliyev met today in Davos. According to Azerbaijani media, Trump and Aliyev discussed the steps taken to normalize relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

The head of state noted that the Zangezur corridor, including the TRIPP project, plays an important role in terms of regional ties.

Within the framework of the Davos Economic Forum, the charter of the “Peace Council” initiated by Donald Trump was signed today. Armenia and Azerbaijan also joined the initiative. At the ceremony, Nikol Pashinyan and Ilham Aliyev sat side by side, then Donald Trump joined them.
