The fight against the Islamic State group is becoming more decisive. Erdogan

The fight against the Islamic State terrorist group is becoming more decisive, and all manifestations of terrorism in the region must be eliminated, according to Anadolu, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said.

“When the terrorist threat in northern Syria is completely eliminated, not only the Syrian people, but also the entire region will feel relief,” Erdogan said.

On January 21, the Turkish president demanded that the Syrian Kurds lay down their arms and accept the supremacy of official Damascus.

“To avoid further bloodshed, the terrorist organization operating in the northern regions of Syria must lay down its weapons and announce its self-dissolution. Further provocations by them will be tantamount to suicide,” Erdogan said.
