A woman stole more than 100,000 euros from a business account using a fake passport. According to the police, the document enabled her to issue an activation code. This made it possible to access the injured party’s online account, it said.
This was followed by several transfers from July of last year, which caused a total of six-figure damage.
The police are asking for information about the woman. She presumably belongs to an unknown group of perpetrators who are responsible for the gang-related fraud.
