Turkish authorities arrested six suspected spies for the IRGC

During the special operation, simultaneous raids were carried out in five regions of Turkey, including Istanbul and Ankara. The arrests came after a secret joint investigation by Turkey’s anti-terrorism unit and intelligence agencies.

The suspects were conducting reconnaissance in the area of ​​Incirlik Air Base in the southern province of Adana, where American forces are stationed, Turkish state television TRT reported. One of the six detainees is of Iranian origin.

The group is accused of passing intelligence and logistics information to Iranian intelligence. The investigation found that, among other things, they monitored the shipment of drones through Turkey for use in other countries.
