In a remarkable move, Trump hangs his picture with Putin in the White House

In a remarkable move, US President Donald Trump hung a picture of himself with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, inside the White House. The Independent newspaper reported on Thursday that the photo of Trump and Putin was taken during their summit in Alaska last August. According to the circulating snapshot, the photo was placed on top of another photo of Trump with one of his grandchildren, in one of the lobbies of the West Wing of the main building of the White House. Kirill Dmitriev, a senior Russian negotiator, praised the photo, saying: “Good. A picture is worth a thousand words.” Dmitriev met several times with US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law, as part of negotiations to end the war between Russia.
