Russian President Vladimir Putin’s envoy, heads of the bilateral group on economic issues, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund Kirill Dmitriev arrived in Miami for talks with US administration officials. It is not clear who is present on the American side.
Earlier, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced that the president’s special envoys Steve Wittkoff and Jared Kushner, who participated in the previous talks in Abu Dhabi, will not participate in the February 1 talks. He added that other US representatives might participate.
Earlier, the American website Axios reported that the next round of tripartite negotiations on establishing peace in Ukraine will be held on February 1 in the capital of the United Arab Emirates. The previous round of negotiations was held in Abu Dhabi on January 23-24. Yesterday, however, the President of Ukraine announced that the date or location of the next round of negotiations between Ukraine and Russia, which will be held under the mediation of the United States, may be changed.
