Russia struck a market in the Donetsk region, there were dead

Seven people were killed and 15 were injured as a result of Russian shelling of a market in the village of Druzhkovka, Donetsk region. The head of the Regional State Administration, Vadim Filashkin, said that cluster munitions were used.

“This is yet another targeted war crime and further proof that all Russian statements about a ‘truce’ are worthless,” the RBC Ukraine official quoted the official as saying.

It should be noted that on February 4-5, trilateral Russian-Ukrainian negotiations are being held in Abu Dhabi, the goal of which is to end the war in Ukraine. Russia demands that the Ukrainian-controlled territories of the Donetsk region be transferred to it.

“Russia continues a special military operation. The doors for a peaceful settlement are open, Russia maintains its openness. But until the relevant decisions are made by the Kyiv regime, the special military operation continues,” said the press secretary of the Russian president, Dmitry Peskov.
