UAE: We support a unified, prosperous Sudan under independent civilian rule

Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, Diplomatic Advisor to His Highness the President of the State, confirmed that the UAE supports a unified, prosperous Sudan under independent civilian rule, and that it is working with the United States, the Quartet and the international community to reach a humanitarian truce in this horrific civil war. Gargash wrote, in his official account on the “X” platform, yesterday, Wednesday, “The UAE pledged to contribute $500 million to the Sudan Humanitarian Fund in Washington, which strengthens its position as the second largest humanitarian supporter of Sudan.” He added, “We are working with the United States, the Quartet, and the international community to reach a humanitarian truce in this horrific civil war, and we support a united, prosperous Sudan under independent civilian rule.”
