Negotiations between Russia, Ukraine and the United States resumed in Abu Dhabi

“Of course, there is progress. There is good, positive movement forward,” special representative of the Russian President Kirill Dmitriev told reporters.

“Some indicator may be that warmongers from Europe, from Britain are constantly trying to interfere with this process, constantly trying to get involved in it. But the more such attempts, the more it is clear that there is progress in this work,” he added.

According to the Russian side, the parties proceed from the fact that Ukraine will not become a member of NATO. Previously, its President Vladimir Zelensky stated that he would be ready to do this if the country was provided with genuine security guarantees.

Ukraine refuses to comply with Russia’s demand for a complete withdrawal from the Donetsk and Lugansk regions – including the territories it controls. Despite statements by US President Donald Trump that these territories will still be lost to it, the Russian army is advancing extremely slowly and with significant losses.
