Washington imposed new sanctions against Iran’s oil exports

The blacklist included 14 shadow fleets, which, according to the State Department, were engaged in the transportation of Iranian oil, petroleum products and petrochemical products.

In addition, sanctions have been imposed on 15 organizations involved in the trade of Iranian oil or petrochemical products or related to them.

President Donald Trump is “committed to curtailing the Iranian regime’s illegal exports of oil and petrochemicals as part of a campaign of maximum pressure on the administration,” State Department spokesman Tommy Pigott said in a statement.
