Obama surprised in the interview: “Aliens are real”

The former president was asked in the podcast and said that “aliens are real, but I haven’t seen them” • He referred in his words to one of the biggest conspiracy theories in the US, in one of the most mysterious places • “They are not there, unless there is a huge conspiracy”

Former US President Barack Obama said tonight (between Saturday and Sunday) that aliens “are real”. The president referred to various conspiracy theories on the subject, but said that he had not seen them, and they were not held at “Area 51”, a secret military base in the US that has become identified with those theories.

“Are aliens real?” Obama was asked on Brian Tyler Cohen’s podcast. “They are real, but I haven’t seen them,” Obama replied. “And they’re not held in… what’s that called?” He continued, and the moderator completed him: “Area 51.”

“Area 51,” Obama continued, “there is no underground facility there, unless there is a huge conspiracy here and they hid it from the President of the United States.”

Obama was asked what was the first question he wanted an answer to when he became president of the United States, and he replied: “Where are the aliens?”

For decades, the question of the existence of aliens has occupied the American public, along with the mystery surrounding the highly classified military base in southern Nevada, which was nicknamed “Area 51”. Many conspiracy theories claim that the remains of aliens and unidentified aircraft that came from space are kept there.

Among the claims that have circulated over the years: storage and examination of crashed alien spaceships, including materials allegedly collected in 1947 in the Roswell incident. Others claim that the facility is involved in the development of intergalactic weapons, time travel or teleportation technologies and even weather control.

Obama’s words come a few months after Dan Farah, the director of the documentary “The Age of Disclosure” claimed that it is possible that a sitting president will soon announce the existence of extraterrestrial life. In an interview at the end of November, Farah said that in his opinion “it’s only a matter of time” until a president stands on the podium and tells the world that “we are not alone in the universe”. According to him, this will be “the most significant moment a leader can experience.”
