The director of the agency emphasized that the full return of IAEA inspectors to the damaged facilities in Purdue, Isfahan and Natanz now depends on the possibility of a broader agreement between the powers and Tehran. “We are aware of the fact that there are political negotiations in the background,” Grossi clarified, pointing to the political complexity that prevents rapid technical progress.
