A man who tried to enter the Trump mansion was shot dead

The United States Secret Service announced today (Sunday) that it shot dead a man who tried to enter President Donald Trump’s mansion in Mar-a-Lago, Florida. Trump is currently staying at the White House in Washington.

At a press conference about the shooting incident, the sheriff stated that the suspect arrived at the scene with a rifle, he was shot after putting down the gas tank and picking up the rifle, all while inside the inner compound.

They emphasize that Trump is not in Florida and those present inside Mar-a-Lago were not at risk thanks to the quick action of the Secret Service. The agents who were involved in the incident were placed on administrative leave until the end of the investigation. The FBI is the one who will lead the investigation of the incident. According to a Fox News report, the person who was shot is a young man in his early twenties.

Remember, this is not the first time that an attempt has been made to assassinate Trump, last year during the presidential election campaign, he survived two assassination attempts. Once during an election rally he held, and a second time when he was at a golf club.
