Iranian delegation flies to Geneva for talks

An Iranian delegation led by Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi flew to Geneva to participate in the third round of negotiations with the United States on the fate of Iran’s nuclear program. The American delegation will be led by Steven Witkoff and Jared Kushner.

A day earlier, Araqchi wrote on the social network X that Tehran, based on the agreements reached in the previous round, would resume negotiations with the United States in Geneva in order to reach a “fair” agreement as soon as possible.

“We are presented with a rare opportunity to conclude an unprecedented agreement that will solve the problems of both sides and serve mutual interests. An agreement is only achievable if diplomacy takes precedence,” he wrote.
