The Russian Emergency Situations Ministry will transport 84 Russian employees from Israel to Moscow

The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations announced the start of the evacuation of Russian citizens serving in Israel; the department’s special flight will deliver 84 people from Sharm el-Sheikh to Moscow on March 2, the ministry’s press service reported.

“The Il-76 special flight flew to Moscow with diplomatic workers and members of their families serving in Israel, who had previously arrived in Sharm el-Sheikh through land checkpoints. Today, 84 people will arrive on the territory of the Russian Federation,” the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations said in a statement.

Interfax notes that the removal of Russian citizens was organized in accordance with the instructions of Russian President Vladimir Putin and on behalf of the head of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, Alexander Kurenkov.
