The US State Department called on Americans to immediately leave the Middle East countries

The US State Department has issued an emergency warning, calling on US citizens to immediately leave several countries and territories of the Middle East by commercial transport while this possibility persists.

The new warning is issued “due to serious security risks.” This was announced by Assistant Secretary of State for Consular Affairs Mora Namdar.

The list of such countries and territories includes: Bahrain, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Palestinian Authority, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, UAE and Yemen.

Note that leaving Israel and the Palestinian Authority is currently problematic due to the lack of commercial civil flights. However, it is possible to travel across land borders.
