Tucker Carlson accused Israel and Netanyahu of dragging the US into war with Iran

In the last episode of his podcast, Carlson opens with a conspiratorial and baseless claim that Israeli Mossad agents were recently arrested in Qatar and Saudi Arabia, while they were planning to carry out deadly attacks in the Gulf countries. According to him, the purpose of these actions is to sow destructive chaos and weaken these countries, even though those countries are themselves threatened by Iran.

In a monologue of almost two hours that he published, Carlson makes a series of accusations that Israel is fully responsible for the war against Iran. According to him, the current conflict has nothing to do with the threats of the Iranian nuclear program or the national security of the United States, but is motivated by Israel’s sole desire to achieve “regional hegemony” and absolute control in the Middle East.

Carlson does not stop there, and provides a distorted analysis of reality. He claims that the Israeli master plan includes deliberate damage to the energy and tourism infrastructures of the Gulf countries, in order to turn the region into a “hellscape” that will be easier for them to subdue.

Moreover, he presents a radical theory according to which Jerusalem’s ultimate goal is to completely remove the American presence and influence from the Middle East, as soon as the American military finishes spilling its blood to overthrow the regime in Tehran for Israel.
