Trump lands a blow on the hostile country and humiliates Starmer: “Not Churchill”

“In fact, I told Scott to cut off all deals with Spain,” Trump said. According to him, “It started when all European countries, at my request, agreed to pay 5% – and that’s what they should do. Everyone was enthusiastic about it – Germany, everyone – and Spain didn’t do it.”

He later attacked the leadership in Madrid: “They were unfriendly, so I said – we don’t want. Spain doesn’t have anything we need, except great people. They have great people, but they don’t have great leadership.” He also noted that “as you know, they were the only country in NATO that did not agree to increase to 5%. I don’t think they would agree to cost anything.”

As for Germany, Trump sounded more conciliatory. “I think they are working – they allow us to land in certain areas, and we appreciate it, and they simply make it easier for us. We don’t ask them to deploy ground forces or anything like that,” he said, stressing that for him, logistical cooperation and operational facilitation are enough.

Later he also said that “I love Britain. My mother was born there. My father was born in Germany. There are countries you love, but Britain and its actions regarding energy and immigrants are terrible. They must solve the issue of illegal immigration.” Finally he noted that “the mayor of London is terrible. There are Muslim courts there.”
