An Israeli tourist dies in a traffic accident in Thailand

The organization ZAKA-International reported that a 54-year-old Israeli, a resident of Jerusalem, crashed on a motorcycle in the city of Chiang Mai in Thailand over the weekend. Apparently, he lost control of the vehicle and skidded. The deceased left behind a wife and two children.

ZAKA volunteers in Thailand, together with employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, received the body of the deceased from the hospital for further delivery to Israel for burial.

The Walla News website notes that despite the ongoing war and disruptions in air travel, the body of the deceased has already been delivered to the airport and loaded onto the plane. It is expected that on the morning of Monday, March 9, it will be transported to its homeland.
