Berlin is making eleven state-owned single-family home plots available for social housing projects. Projects oriented towards the common good are to be built on the previously unused areas, especially for assisted living, as the Berlin Real Estate Management Company (BIM) announced.
They are granted by leasehold. This offers advantages such as ownership of the property and lower capital requirements, but also tax effects. As a rule, the term for a leasehold contract is 40 years, in individual cases even 65 years.
Seven of the properties are in the Treptow-Köpenick district, two in Marzahn-Hellersdorf. There is one property each in the districts of Spandau and Lichtenberg. You can express interest until September 4th.
