The Communist Parties of the USA, Israel and Iran jointly condemned the “imperialist aggression” against Iran

The communist parties of Iran, the United States and Israel issued a joint statement condemning the US-Israeli strike on Iran. “This is imperialist aggression, contrary to the interests of the working class,” they argue.

“The war was started by the criminal government of Netanyahu and the American imperialists, whose actions bring new troubles and new deaths – all in the name of imperialist interests, to the detriment of the interests of the peoples, their independence and the right to self-determination.” – People’s World website quotes the statement.

The communists of the three countries oppose US plans to change the regime in Iran. However, they emphasize that one should not have any illusions about the Iranian theocracy. According to the document, opposition to imperialism does not mean support for the clerics.

“Not only will American-Israeli aggression not bring Iran liberation from the yoke of the current tyranny, it will destroy Iran as a functioning state and replace the current government with an authoritarian dependent regime,” the communists say.
