Ukraine, Russia launches remote-controlled bombs: several injured, news today

Russia attacked the southern Ukrainian city of Zaporizhzhia and the surrounding region with guided aerial bombs today, Thursday 12 March, injuring at least 13 people, including two minors. Local authorities reported this, specifying that the attacks targeted Zaporizhzhia and the village of Rozumivka, damaging condominiums, homes and critical infrastructure. Thirteen people were injured, Governor Ivan Fedorov said. Among those affected, there are two children aged 11 and 12.

Moscow: attack foiled in Crimea

An attack against a senior Russian officer in Crimea has been foiled by the Russian Federal Security Service. The FSB said the attack, against a senior military officer of a Russian Defense Ministry unit, had been planned by a local resident on instructions from the Ukrainian secret service and that the man was arrested.

Tomorrow Zelensky from Macron

French President Emmanuel Macron will receive his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky at the Elysée tomorrow. The Elysée announced this, explaining that the two leaders will talk about ”means of increasing pressure on Russia” after four years of war against Ukraine, in addition to the ”counter against the Russian phantom fleet”.

Maron and Zelensky, explains the Elysée in a note, “will also exchange opinions on the conditions for a just and lasting peace and will take stock, in this regard, of the commitments undertaken within the framework of the Coalition of the Willing regarding security guarantees”.
