Josip Šincek, suspected of throwing 35 thousand tons of waste, received an award for clean energy

Josip Šincek, suspected of illegally depositing and burying 35 thousand tons of hazardous medical and plastic waste in the area of PPK Velebit in Gospi, received an award at the International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva a few days ago for the innovation ‘Power Multiplier’. Riverč is about a system for multiplying power that is ‘closely related to ecology and environmental impact’.

The system enables the multiplication of input power using a combination of height differences, load, gravitational force and kinetic energy. The obtained energy can be used as driving force for various machines or, with the help of generator, can be converted into electrical energy, writes panopticum.hr.

With this innovation, Šincek entered the space where sustainable methods of energy production are sought, and claims that it has a strong impact on the environment because it reduces CO2 emissions. How much 35 thousand tons of waste in Gospi has a strong impact on the environment, read HERE.

Šincek is the winner of a special award given by the National Institute for Development and Research from Bucharest (IMT Bucharest).

Civic initiative Gospić is our home sent a note of protest to IMT Bucharest and the organizers of the International Fair of Innovators in Geneva.
