Trump attacked NATO countries for their refusal to join the war against Iran

Trump noted that “the United States has been informed by most of our ‘allies’ in NATO that they do not wish to be involved in our military operation against Iran’s terrorist regime in the Middle East, despite the fact that almost every country has strongly agreed with what we are doing, and that we cannot, in any way, allow Iran to possess nuclear weapons. I’m not surprised by their action, however, because I’ve always thought of NATO, where we spend hundreds of billions of dollars a year to protect those very countries, as a one-way street – we’ll protect them, but they won’t do anything for us, especially in times of need.”

He also added: “Fortunately, we have completely destroyed Iran’s military – their navy is gone, their air force is gone, their anti-aircraft systems and radar are gone, and perhaps, most importantly, their leaders, at almost every level, are no longer, and will never threaten us, our allies in the Middle East, or the world again!”

“Due to the fact that we have had such great military success, we no longer ‘need’, or desire, the help of NATO countries – we never needed! Similarly for Japan, Australia or South Korea. In fact, speaking as the President of the United States of America, arguably the most powerful country anywhere in the world, we don’t need help from anyone!”, he concluded.
