Iran struck the world’s largest liquefied natural gas cluster in Ras Lafan.
Qatar’s Defense Ministry said five ballistic missiles were fired from Iran, four of which were intercepted. One rocket hit the complex, causing a fire.
Iran issued a warning before the strike. The complex was evacuated.
After the attack, Qatar declared Iran’s military attaché at the embassy in Doha persona non grata. In a statement issued by the Qatari Foreign Ministry, the Iranian military attaché was ordered to leave the country within 24 hours.
